The tour to the Ronachkopf is a scenic and easy route with panoramic views of the Schmittenhöhe, the Hohe Tauern and Zell am See. A leisurely initial climb is followed by a slightly more challenging middle section before you reach the summit above the Enzianhütte at 1,350 m above sea level after another flat section.Beginners can walk through the forest in the middle section if there is enough snow.
The tour is therefore ideal for beginners and experts alike. The innkeeper at the Enzianhütte treats hungry winter sports enthusiasts to local delicacies. Depending on the snow situation, the tour can be enjoyed from the beginning of December to mid-April and still offers a snow-reliable descent down to the valley in spring.
